Built for Denver Homes and Colorado Weather

If you live in Denver, you already know how tough the weather can be on your home.

Snow piles up fast. Spring melt sends water and debris straight into window wells. Summer hail cracks plastic covers that were never built for Colorado conditions.

Windows Well Covered installs custom window well covers in Denver that are designed to solve these problems long term. Every cover is professionally measured, built to fit your exact window well, and installed by our team so it performs properly for years.

Why Denver Homeowners Replace Their Old Window Well Covers

Most Denver homeowners who call us are not starting from scratch. They are replacing something that already failed.

Common reasons we hear include:

N
A plastic cover cracked after one hailstorm
N
A metal cover blocks the sunlight
N
Water and debris keep collecting despite having a cover
N
Kids or pets get too close and it does not feel safe
N
Wildlife keeps finding its way into the well

The issue is not that window well covers do not work. It is that most off-the-shelf covers are not built for Denver conditions or real homes.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Windows Well Covered. Jason was incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. The pricing was transparent and the covers were custom-made to fit our old and uniquely shaped window wells perfectly. What really stood out was Jason's thoughtfulness—he fit us into his schedule even though we're just outside his normal service area and coordinated the installation around our daughter's nap time. It's rare to find that level of customer service these days. We highly recommend Windows Well Covered!

Built for Safety, Weather, and Peace of Mind

A properly designed window well cover should do more than sit on top of the well.

Our covers are designed to:

N
Help keep snow, water, and debris out of the well
N
Reduce the risk of falls around basement windows
N
Protect pets and prevent wildlife from getting trapped
N
Maintain emergency egress from inside the home

These are the reasons homeowners start searching for window well covers in the first place. Our job is to make sure the solution actually delivers on them.

Denver covers are built to the same tested design as everything else we make. The engineering verification has the figures and the size limits.

Questions We Hear From Denver Homeowners

Do your covers still allow basement egress?

Yes. Our covers are designed to allow emergency exit from inside the home. They have an optional quick-release locking system that does not require any tools, keys, or special knowledge to operate.

Can you install covers on older Denver homes?

Yes. Many Denver homes have uneven concrete or non-standard wells, which is exactly why custom fit matters. New or old, funky shapes and sizes, we can handle most well openings.

Do I need to measure or install anything myself?

No. We handle all measurements and installation. The on-site measurement ensures your cover fits properly and performs as intended.

Do you recommend steel grates or polycarbonate covers for Denver area homes?

Denver weather includes hail, snow load, and strong sun exposure. For most homes, clear polycarbonate covers provide better overall protection while still allowing natural light into basement spaces. They are strong, durable, and designed to perform in extreme weather without blocking daylight like traditional steel grates.

What About Pricing

Our pricing reflects custom fabrication and professional installation, not mass-produced parts.

Exact pricing depends on the size and conditions of your window wells, which is why we confirm everything after an on-site measurement. This ensures the cover fits properly and performs the way it should.

Unless you have something out of the ordinary, our transparent pricing model should directly apply to your window wells.
